Join a workspace

Colletta is invite-only, so everyone starts the same way: ask a workspace Owner or Admin for an invitation link. Once you join, your role and the workspace’s sharing settings decide what you can open and edit. Restricted documents and other people’s drafts may need a separate invitation.

  1. Open the invitation link you were sent. The page tells you which workspace you’re joining and with which role.
  2. If you aren’t signed in yet, choose Log in to join, then Continue to log in. Sign in on the Colletta sign-in page and you come straight back to the invitation.
  3. Check the account shown under “Logged in as …” so you join with the right one, then choose Join. The workspace opens.

A link works once, and it expires after 7 days unless whoever made it picked a different time. If they tied it to an email address, sign in with that address. It has to be a verified address.

“This invitation is not valid” means the link has expired, has already been used, or was revoked. Nothing is wrong with your account: ask the person who sent it for a new one.

If you sign in without an invitation, Colletta tells you that you need one. Ask a workspace Owner or Admin for a link, then open it in the same browser you signed in with.

Your name and email come from your sign-in account. To add a photo, open your account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Profile. People who share a workspace with you see your photo, for example in the list of who has a document open.

Next, take a tour of the screen.
